A few questions have been coming in about what to expect on All-Together Sunday so I thought it would be good to answer them here.
All-Together Sunday is an opportunity for the whole church to learn about Jesus together, including children. Very often, we get into the mindset of thinking that you have to be old enough to learn about the Bible and what it says about Jesus. One of the great things about the good news of Jesus is that it is available for absolutely everyone to hear and to know.
To help us do that, on the last Sunday of the month, there will be no Sunday School. Instead we will all be together for the whole service.
Because little hands and feet can get restless, we will have a shorter and more varied running order including songs, reading the Bible, and an interactive teaching time that will help everyone learn a bit more about Jesus. We will still be taking communion as it is always a great opportunity to show our children what Jesus did in order to save his people. After the service, we will also be hosting a light lunch which is a great time to chat about what you’ve learned and how it might change the way you live.
